The Canton Fair is miles of aisles: without preparation, a day disappears into walking and business cards.

  • We shortlist the stands before you land, we walk the halls with you, and our Chinese-speaking team negotiates in Mandarin while you follow in English.
  • You leave with prices and a written record, not a bag of catalogues.
What you receive
  • A written shortlist before you arrive: hall, aisle, number, and why that stand.
  • A plan for the day: order of visits, walking time, appointments confirmed.
  • Guidance for the whole day, in the aisles and at every stand.
  • Negotiation in Mandarin: price, minimum order quantity, lead time, payment, samples.
  • A debrief the same evening: what each exhibitor said and quoted, their details, who to call back.
Included
  • The stand shortlist for your product, prepared before you arrive.
  • A full day at the fair, from opening to closing.
  • Interpreting and negotiation in Mandarin by our Chinese-speaking team.
  • Your technical questions, prepared beforehand and put to the exhibitor on the stand.
  • Collecting and sorting the catalogues, price lists and samples handed out on the stands.
Not included
  • Your buyer badge and entry to the fair: registration is in your own name.
  • Your travel, hotel and meals.
  • Visa and invitation letter: we tell you how it works, nothing more.
  • Verification of the exhibitors you meet: that is ordered separately, before any order.
What you send us
  • Your product, described precisely, and the volumes you are aiming at.
  • The dates you will be in Guangzhou.
  • What you want out of the day: a price, a supplier, a sample, a comparison, a standard to meet.

When it applies

  • A first visit, without losing the morning to the wrong hall.
  • A regular with nobody to negotiate in Mandarin.
  • Five or six manufacturers of the same product to compare in a day.

Who carries it out

The day is led by Sorva's management, European and based in Guangzhou, with our Chinese-speaking team negotiating in the exhibitors' own language.

Frequently asked

01Why do European-language fair guides usually cost more?
Because they are Chinese agencies that hire a European speaker for the day and pass the cost on: ChinaTourGuide and Cantontradefair charge 35 to 50% more for a French-speaking day. Sorva is French and already based in Guangzhou, so there is no premium to pass on.
02Do you speak Chinese yourselves?
No, and we do not pretend to. The Mandarin negotiation is handled by our Chinese-speaking team in Guangzhou. You follow and you make the call.
03What if I am staying several days?
Each day is booked separately. The shortlist and the debrief carry over, which makes the second day more productive.
04What do I do with the exhibitors I meet?
You leave with contact details and prices, not with a verified supplier. Follow up with a supplier verification, then a visit to the factory you choose.
Bespoke

Large programmes stay bespoke

A continuous buying programme, a large volume or an unusual arrangement will not fit into a box. The pricing page carries the initial pack, the monthly retainer and the success fee.
