Trade shows in China 2027: full calendar by month and sector

The end of 2026 concentrates the largest number of events of the period, led by the 140th session of the Canton Fair, the largest Chinese export show open to foreign buyers. It runs from October 15 to November 4, 2026 at the Pazhou complex, in Guangzhou, in three phases: electronics and industry from October 15 to 19, consumer goods and decor from October 23 to 27, toys, textiles and food from October 31 to November 4. The same period sees several specialized shows held in Hong Kong and Zhejiang.

March and April 2027 concentrate the major events for furniture, textiles and industrial plastics. The China International Furniture Fair in Guangzhou, 59th edition, runs in two phases at the Pazhou complex and the PWTC Expo. Free online pre-registration generally opens ninety to one hundred twenty days ahead, so around November or December 2026.

In the same window, several fashion and industry shows are held in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The textile fair Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics brought together more than 3,500 exhibitors from thirty countries at its autumn 2026 edition, and the fashion show CHIC is reported for the same window by the trade press, to be confirmed on the official website.

The 141st session of the Canton Fair, the spring 2027 session, had no official dates published by the organizer as of September 26, 2026. Based on the show's usual pattern, a forecast window falls around April 15 to May 5, 2027, with the same three phases as the autumn session, but this calendar remains to be confirmed on cantonfair.org.cn before booking any hotel or flight.

The China Beauty Expo in Shanghai, the international cosmetics and skincare show backed by China's Ministry of Commerce, announces a next edition from May 12 to 14, 2027 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, a date still to be confirmed on the official website before any trip.

Several shows usually held in the second half of the year had, as of September 26, 2026, published no date for their 2027 edition. This is normal for shows that announce their next calendar only a few months ahead: it is not a cancellation, just information not yet available.

For each of them, only the pace of previous editions allows for a cautious estimate, to be treated as a reference point, not a date to book.

The useful marker is not the size of the show but the match between its sector and your product. The list below groups the major product families with the shows that correspond to them over the period studied.

One last distinction is worth knowing before booking a trip: the China International Import Expo is a show organized by China to grow its own imports, not to export its production. It remains open to foreign visitors and charges an entry fee, but it mainly serves those who want to sell in China, not those looking to source a supplier there.

Most of the shows listed here share the same access logic: free online pre-registration for a trade visitor. The Canton Fair, CIFF Guangzhou and Global Sources Hong Kong all work on this model, with a named badge collected on site against a passport and business card. The China International Import Expo is an exception, with an individual ticket priced at fifty yuan per day at its last edition, a fee not republished for the next edition.

Three steps remain common: book your hotel as soon as the calendar is published, request your invitation letter for a business visa, and re-check the official calendar before departure, especially for dates that are still forecast.
